William Perry Mincher, 81, of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Nash County to the late William Seth and Ethel Smith Mincher. William was preceded in death by his two sisters, Irma Griffin and Dot Pittman; his two brothers, Syntell Mincher and Ollie Mincher.

He retired from Amerigas after many years of service to the company.

William is survived by his companion, Faye Dunlow of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his three sons, Steve Mincher and his wife Robin of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Greg Mincher and his wife, Esther of Rocky Mount, NC and Tony Mincher of Rocky Mount, NC; his eight grandchildren, Adam Mincher and his wife Kathryn, Nicholas Mincher, Jessica Mincher, William Mincher, Samuel Mincher, Christopher Mincher, Bodie Mincher and Jenna Mincher and also his two great-grandchildren, Meredith Mincher and Madisyn Mincher.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate William's life will be held in the Chapel of Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids, NC on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
